How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your photos

Into any tool on this page. Files are read directly by your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

  2. 2

    Arrange & adjust

Auto-layouts do the heavy lifting; sliders and drag handles let you fine-tune every gap and corner.

  3. 3

    Export instantly

Download a high-resolution PNG or JPG straight from memory. No queue, no compression, no watermark.

Questions

Do my photos ever get uploaded anywhere?

No. Every tool reads files directly in your browser using the File and Canvas APIs, and exports are generated and downloaded the same way. Nothing is sent to a server — collage.tools doesn't even have one to send it to.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up, no login, no email. Open a tool and start dropping in photos.

What image formats can I use?

Any format your browser can decode — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and most HEIC-converted photos. Exports come out as PNG or JPG.

Will my work survive a page refresh?

Not currently — everything lives in memory for the session. Export before you close the tab. Undo history is also cleared on refresh.

Does it work offline?

Once a tool has loaded, yes — there's no server round-trip for arranging or exporting. You'll still need a connection for the very first page load.

Is it really free?

Yes — no paywalls, no watermarks, no premium templates. There's nothing to unlock.
